We are thrilled to announce that Habitat for Humanity of Citrus County will host "Building Hopes & Dreams Together," a gala event on Friday, June 27, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Citrus Hills Golf & Country Club. The evening will include a plated dinner (either Prime Rib or Bourbon Salmon), and raffles.

 

This event aims to raise awareness and funds for our mission to combat the affordable housing shortage for Citrus County's workforce. We are currently undertaking our largest buildout ever: Habitat at Citrus Springs, a 176-home development in northern Citrus County. Here, we are building 3- and 4-bedroom homes with two bathrooms and a one-car garage, complete with central water and sewer systems, for income-qualified families. Habitat at Citrus Springs is part of a deed-restricted community.

 

As advocates and thought leaders in affordable housing, rehabilitation, and support services, Habitat for Humanity of Citrus County is dedicated to making a positive impact in our communities.
